Uniting Voices - From the LÄND to the WÖRLD
Your favourite summer conference is making its return next July!
We are excited to announce that the fourth edition of FREIMUN will take place from 30 July to 01 August 2026 in the vibrant and sunny city of Freiburg.
This edition will bring back everything chairs and delegates love about FREIMUN: inspiring committees, outstanding logistics, a welcoming academics team, and a series of socials that make the conference feel like a true summer highlight. Whether you’re a seasoned MUN enthusiast or stepping into your first committee, FREIMUN26 promises an unforgettable experience.
FREIMUN offers a wide variety of committees, ensuring that there is an option for everyone. Beginner delegates can choose between the African Union (AU) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) - two committees that align with our ambition to tackle global issues. Our UK House of Commons committee follows FREIMUN's tradition of bringing parliamentary committees to the world of MUN. Meanwhile, the Ad-Hoc committee invites delegates to a unique experience, where they can demonstrate their debating as well as the crisis management skills in a dynamic and fast-paced setting. For our seasoned MUNers, we offer a true MUN-classic: the United Nations Security Council, where delegates address issues that threaten our global security. Lastly, for the very first time, FREIMUN will feature an International Press Corps, in which delegates take on the role of a global journalist and report on the happenings in the other committees.
Our delegate fee covers:
- participation in a three-day conference
- meals throughout the conference (breakfast, lunch, coffee break, dinner)
- goodie bag
- access to two social events
Applications are currently open, so you can now join the #FREIMUNfamily as a delegate and join another unforgettable summer of diplomacy in Freiburg!
