FREIMUN 2026

Your favourite summer conference is making its return next July!

We are excited to announce that the fourth edition of FREIMUN will take place from 30 July to 01 August 2026 in the vibrant and sunny city of Freiburg.

This edition will bring back everything chairs and delegates love about FREIMUN: inspiring committees, outstanding logistics, a welcoming academic team, and a series of socials that make the conference feel like a true summer highlight. Whether you’re a seasoned MUN enthusiast or stepping into your first committee, FREIMUN26 promises an unforgettable experience.

For the very first time, FREIMUN will feature an International Press Corps, a dynamic committee where delegates take on the role of a global journalist. They will report on the happenings in the other committees, which this year feature the African Union, the UNHCR, and the UNSC. Additionally, innovative chairs can suggest their very own committee idea through the Chair's Choice committee. Applications are open until March 20th, so take your chance and become a part of the #FREIMUNfamily as a chair!
