It allows delegates to participate in a high-paced and full of adrenaline crisis committee one last time, before the year changes. Our conference challenges delegates to navigate urgent, evolving global conflicts through real-time diplomacy and negotiation. Participants must respond swiftly and creatively as crises escalate, representing nations and organizations in high-stakes decision-making. This year’s simulation focuses on the intense realities of international cooperation and confrontation in a volatile world. Whether you are an experience MUNer or a student wanting to take your first steps in this exciting world, our conference has committees of different difficulty to accomodate you all!

- Council of Europe (COE) - Committee of Ministers: Protecting human rights, democracy, and the rule of law in the face of crisis scenarios within and around Europe.
- International Maritime Organization (IMO) - Maritime Safety Committee: Addressing security threats and disputes in global waters amidst rising maritime tensions and technological advancements.
- International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) - General Assembly: Strengthening global police cooperation to tackle transnational crime and security threats in an increasingly borderless digital age.
- International Conference of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent: Protecting civilians and upholding International Humanitarian Law through neutral aid and relief in volatile conflict zones.
- UNGA Emergency Special Session (Uniting for Peace): Convening under the 'Uniting for Peace' resolution to take action when the Security Council is deadlocked, emphasizing swift multilateral responses.
- International Court of Justice (ICJ): Settling high-stakes legal disputes between sovereign states and delivering binding judgments on breaches of international law
Bicameral Wargame: An immersive, two-cabinet simulation requiring rapid-fire strategic coordination, where decisions made in one chamber trigger immediate, unpredictable consequences in the other, testing leadership under extreme pressure.
Committees
INTERPOL, or the International Criminal Police Organization, was established in 1923 following the second International Justice Police Congress held in Vienna. This intergovernmental organization is the second largest in the world, comprising 196 member countries and headquartered in Lyon, France. INTERPOL is an international network connecting police forces worldwide, focusing its efforts on the fight against corruption, organized crime, cybercrime, drug trafficking, terrorism, and more. The organization is known for issuing “Red Notices”,which while often compared to international arrest warrants, function as alert documents published to ensure the global tracking and location of wanted criminals. Its General Assembly offers a unique mix of technical policing, legal strategy, and geopolitical tension, making it much more action-oriented than traditional diplomatic assemblies.
The International Maritime Organization is a specialized agency of the United Nations established by the 1948 Geneva Convention and headquartered in London, United Kingdom. It is responsible for regulating international shipping. Its primary objectives are to improve maritime safety, develop fair and effective shipping regulations, and minimize marine pollution from ships. The Maritime Safety Committee operates as a technical and policy-driven committee where delegates tackle complex issues regarding maritime security threats, such as piracy and territorial disputes. Delegates must balance national interests with the global need for safe, sustainable and efficient maritime practices that underpin approximately 80% of global trade.
The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement was founded in 1863 in Geneva where it is also headquartered. Under the mandate to protect victims of international and internal armed conflicts, it has played a crucial role in developing the Geneva Conventions, the rules of war and International Humanitarian Law (IHL). It also conducts and coordinates international relief and humanitarian operations amid war and peace. The International Conference of the Red Cross and Red Crescent is a unique forum bringing together governments and humanitarian actors in order to provide a platform for collaboration and commitment to humanitarian principles even amid global divisions. It challenges delegates to move beyond pure politics toward humanitarian consensus, forcing them to balance national security interests with the fundamental duty to protect human dignity in conflict zones.
The United Nations General Assembly - Emergency Special Session, convened under Resolution 377A(V) also known as the “Uniting For Peace” resolution (1950), is a powerful mechanism that allows the General Assembly to act when the Security Council is deadlocked due to a lack of unanimity among its permanent members. This committee challenges delegates to respond rapidly in global crises - including armed conflicts, humanitarian disasters, and threats to international peace - by drafting urgent resolutions, coordinating international action, and working under immense diplomatic pressure. Delegates must demonstrate deep knowledge of UN procedures, International Law, and complex geopolitical dynamics while balancing national interests with the collective responsibility to maintain global stability.
The International Court of Justice, or ICJ, is the principal judicial organ of the United Nations. Established in 1945 and based in the Hague, it settles legal disputes between states in accordance with international law and gives advisory opinions on legal questions referred by UN organs and specialized agencies. As the world’s highest international court, the ICJ plays a vital role in promoting the peaceful resolution of disputes and the development of international law. This committee trades political speeches for legal rigor, challenging participants to act as judges to solve territorial and diplomatic disputes through international law. It provides a unique, intellectually intense experience where the outcome is determined by evidence and judicial reasoning rather than just majority voting.
The Council of Europe is a regional organization focused on promoting human rights, democracy and the rule of law around Europe. It was founded in London in 1949 and its headquarters are based in Strasbourg, France. It is not the same as the European Union - it is larger and older. It is Europe’s oldest intergovernmental organization, representing 46 member states. The Committee of Ministers deliberates on issues like political freedom, human rights violations, media freedom and the protection of minorities. Ministers in this committee work together to create recommendations that set the standards for laws across the continent in order to protect individual rights and strengthen democratic values.
Defined as a strategic simulation, the wargame focuses on past, present, or future security and defense issues. Beyond the battle and the war itself, delegates also need to account for and organize their logistics, supply lines, and conscription. Historically used as a training tool for military officers, wargaming has evolved into an exhilarating committee for delegates. The outcomes of the strategic choices and tactical maneuvers made by the delegates will be decided in real time by the Crisis Director to determine the degree of success of their actions. Wargaming is therefore a tool for training and studying conflict, providing a stimulating and distinct approach to war and international relations. Delegates will be asked to analyze strategic military decisions, handle diplomatic tensions, and navigate the geopolitical landscape of the time. Participants will simulate both forces in opposing cabinets, each with distinct goals and internal pressures, in a thrilling test of diplomacy and strategy. Instead of traditional resolutions, participants will issue directives to respond to a constantly evolving timeline.
