How many delegates are in a UNGA committee?

All 193 UN member states sit in the real Assembly and in each of its six Main Committees: DISEC, ECOFIN, SOCHUM, SPECPOL, the Fifth Committee on the budget, and the Legal Committee. UNGA simulations on mymun seated about 28 delegations.

Are UNGA resolutions binding?

Generally no: the Assembly makes recommendations to states. When a veto leaves the Security Council unable to act, the Assembly can take up the threat to peace itself, and since 2022 it debates a veto within 10 working days.
