Strengthening Regional Cooperation
Regional cooperation involves collaborative mechanisms among neighbouring countries to enhance shared interests, stability, and development. It tackles common regional challenges like economic development, security, energy, and environmental issues. In light of current global developments, and given that many regions are facing similar challenges there is a noticeable erosion of trust and confidence in regional mechanisms. It is therefore crucial to foster greater awareness of these issues among young people as well. For this reason, we have decided that the overall theme of the 13th MUNLawS conference will be Strengthening Regional Cooperation.
MUNLawS is the largest university and high school-level conference in Slovenia. This three-day event is aimed at university, secondary school students, and young professionals. It takes place each year in Autumn at the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia (EU). Our previous conferences were attended by more than 1700 delegates from more than 40 countries and 4 continents. The MUNLawS presents a great opportunity to engage in diplomatic debates about current topics in the international community. Organised in the beautiful city of Ljubljana, the Conference is also an amazing occasion to build friendships and to enjoy our city’s lively social life.
