The Geneva International Model United Nations (GIMUN) is a five-day conference held every February in international Geneva. We are among the oldest oldest university-level MUN conference in Switzerland, and one of the oldest in Europe. GIMUN will bring together young ambitious students from all over the world to discover new solutions to conflicting global ideals and national interests.
This edition will take place from 09.02.2026-13.02.2026, in International Geneva with our venues being the Geneva Graduate Institute (IHEID) and the United Nations Office in Geneva (UNOG). To highlight the city's multilateral heart, multilingualism makes a strong comeback in this edition, featuring English, French, and Spanish, thanks to our dedicated translation and interpreting teams. One committee in Spanish (OIM), one in French (CIJ), one bilingual English-French (ILO/OIT), a multilingual Press Corps, the rest in English… the choice is yours!
Join us in our 27th edition for 5 days of debate, which will include 5 different socials: a Global Fair, Saints vs Sinners Cocktail Reception, Fondue night, Valentine's Gala ball, and a closing karaoke night. We will also conduct a special 6th one, a visit to many institutions in International Geneva. Come join us!
Get ready to step into the shoes of a diplomat, make your voice heard, and forge connections that will last well beyond the conference!
The participation fee will include:
- Goodies
- Breakfasts
- 2 coffee breaks during each debate session day
- 4 lunches during debate session days
- Access to all 5 socials, among which 1 dinner
- Visits to International Geneva's institutions
