Igniting the Flame of Change

Honourable future MUNSA delegates,

It is an honor to welcome you to the fourth edition of Model United Nations Student Association, on behalf of the United Nations Student Association of Barcelona and the Secretariat Team. Our conference will return to the wonderful city of Barcelona from the 14th to the 17th of September 2023!

Following the on-site format of the previous years, we are proud to, once again, offer our future delegates an event that is face to face, so that all participants are able to enjoy the best of an MUN: debating on relevant issues and getting to know each other in organized social events

With the will to expand MUNSA, the Secretariat has worked hard to offer five committees to our participants, with the aim of developing enriching discussions around each of the topics, as well as extending the MUN for a whole more day. We are committed to provide a diversity of committees: a Historical Security Council, to help us learn from the past; a European Council to bring European institutions into the conference; the UNICEF, to defend children’s rights and help them achieve their full potential worldwide; the ECOSOC, to promote higher standards of living and social progress; and, finally, a Futuristic Committee, for those who are willing to challenge themselves by solving issues that may arise in the future. Delegates will have the opportunity to showcase their cooperation, diplomatic, and negotiation skills throughout the conference as well as to create lifelong friendships with people who come from very different backgrounds and experiences.

While counting down the days for MUNSA, we continue to put all our efforts into providing an incredible experience for you to enjoy, with high hopes that this edition will be a memorable experience to share together. We are looking forward to welcoming you to Barcelona another year.

In the meantime, make sure to follow us on our social media profiles, you will find us as @munsaconference on Instagram.

Yours sincerely,

Lorena Díaz Kalmykova and Mònica Roca Monell

Secretary General and Director General of MUNSA 2023
