Welcome to MUNROT 2025!

We are thrilled to announce the sixth edition of the Model United Nations Conference, proudly organized by EFR, the renowned study association of the Erasmus School of Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Scheduled from May 22nd to 24th, 2025, MUNROT will host approximately 150 delegates from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds. Under the theme “Beyond Borders – Transforming Challenges into Opportunities”, the conference aims for intellectual exchange, diplomatic dialogue, and collaboration to address today’s most pressing global challenges.

🌍MUNROT 2025 is proud to collaborate with over 10 embassies and the Nederlandsche Bank, bringing an international and diplomatic experience to our conference. Several embassies will contribute a guest speaker or compliment the conference in a different aspect, adding unique insights and perspectives to the discussions.🌍

EFR, with its extensive MUN experience, has trained numerous delegates and participated in conferences worldwide. Building on this legacy, MUNROT 2025 promises a unique blend of thought-provoking and fun debates, dynamic committee sessions, and engaging social events.

This year’s committees include the Security Council, Human Rights Council, and the G20, among others. Each committee will encounter globally relevant topics, guided by experienced chairs who provide comprehensive research reports to prepare delegates for impactful debates. Participants will develop innovative resolutions while representing the policies and cultures of their assigned nations.

To ensure an enjoyable and seamless experience, lunch will be provided on all three days of the conference, allowing delegates to focus entirely on engaging discussions and networking. Additionally, we will host an exclusive networking event with drinks on one of the days, offering a great opportunity for participants to connect in a more informal setting.

Whether you're a seasoned MUN veteran or new to the world of diplomacy, MUNROT 2025 offers an inclusive platform for all skill levels. Our committees consist of diverse interests and experiences, ensuring a rewarding experience for every delegate.

For students of the Erasmus School of Economics (ESE), participation in MUNROT 2025 is more than just an opportunity to engage in global debates—it is also an academically recognized achievement. As a part of the Career Skills Programme, ESE students will earn 1 ECTS by attending this prestigious conference.

Rotterdam, with its diverse culture, lively energy, and modern architecture, is the perfect place for MUNROT 2025. As the second-largest city in the Netherlands and one of the most diverse in Europe, Rotterdam represents international teamwork and innovation, values that match the goals of our conference perfectly.
