From Copenhagen to the World: Welcome to THE Nordic University MUN
Get ready for another round of MUN in the Nordics! Following two highly successful editions, CBSMUN is back for its third edition!
Set against the backdrop of wonderful Copenhagen, and hosted at the internationally recognized Copenhagen Business School, we are excited to welcome you to four days of fruitful debates and fun socials at THE Nordic University MUN!
Shaping the Future the Nordic Way - “Shifting Futures: Who Owns Tomorrow?”
In a world where data drives decisions, borders grow more fluid, and global systems are being redefined, the future is no longer a distant ideal - it’s a race for relevance. Technological innovation, environmental leadership, and ethical governance are the new currencies of influence. From small states to global tech giants, everyone is shaping tomorrow in real time. But as we innovate and disrupt, the question remains: who should lead this transformation - and how can we ensure that progress is shared, sustainable, and just?
At CBSMUN 2026, we invite delegates to explore these critical questions through the lens of Nordic values and CBS’s commitment to excellence. The Nordic region - small in size, but strong in diplomacy, transparency, and innovation - offers a unique perspective on global power: one grounded in collaboration, sustainability, and trust. From Copenhagen, at the intersection of climate leadership, digital innovation, and democratic resilience, where old meets new, and with the theme “Shifting Futures: Who Owns Tomorrow?”, participants are challenged to rethink what leadership means in an era of shifting influence.
Nordic Roots, Global Reach, Top-Notch Debate
As the premier Nordic MUN conference, CBSMUN is known for its high academic standards and quality of debate. Hosted at one of Europe's top ranked business schools, we specialize in debates focusing on global economics, diplomacy, and business. By maintaining a unique focus on values such as sustainability, equality, and community, we make sure to keep these Nordic values close to our hearts and in your debate sessions. With committees for all levels of experience and a diverse variety of topics, CBSMUN has something for all delegates, whether it is your first or twentieth conference.
We’re excited to announce nine committees for CBSMUN 2026! Beginners will examine refugee issues in UNHCR, address decolonization and political conflicts in SPECPOL, or dive into climate change and renewable energy at the COP. Intermediate delegates will enter the dynamic world of civil aviation in ICAO, explore the Arctic affairs and environmental cooperation in our Arctic Council, or tackle pressing economic challenges in ECOSOC. Advanced participants can navigate complex conflicts in the UNSC or confront nuanced issues around currency in our Euro Group committee. Finally, for those with an investigative flair, the International Press Corps will be there to cover it all, reporting all the gossip as the debates unfold.
Dynamic Networking and “Hygge” Events - Experience the Best of Copenhagen
CBSMUN is about more than just debate. We make sure to add a heavy dose of “hygge”, a keystone of Danish culture that capitalizes coziness and wellbeing in life, and fun to our program as well. There will be a wide array of social and networking opportunities, allowing delegates to build connections with like-minded future leaders from across the globe. We will also ensure delegates get to experience one of the greenest capitals in the world, as Copenhagen is a city where the new meets the old as new technology is seamlessly integrated into the historical city, creating a modern metropolitan city full of life while remaining authentic and historical. Participants will have the opportunity to explore Copenhagen, both during the day and at night, and get a taste of Danish culture in the process!
