Topic: This topic explores the continuous debate within international refugee policy of how to best structure temporary or permanent stays of refugees across nations. Historically, certain member states have been taking in significantly larger numbers of refugees due to their geographical location, however is this the most sustainable solution going forward? The United Nations Environment Programme is a global authority on matters regarding the environment in an effort to push for the improvement of quality of life without compromising that of the future generations Topic: In 2015, world leaders from 21 member states signed the Paris Agreement to fight climate change, most famously committing to limiting global warming to a maximum of 1.5 degrees. Looking back today, many member states are not on track to meet these goals - how do you address this lack of commitment to the agreement? How do nations go forward with this agreement, its implementation and the continued threat of global warming and climate change?

The UN Security Council is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations and responsible to maintain peace and resolve global conflicts. In unison, the security council can take binding actions for all member states, such as economic sanctions or military interventions to preserve international peace and security. Topic: The increased use of AI and advances in technological capabilities of Quantum Technology are generating continuous threats to the world and provide fields for conflict among the UN member states. Therefore, the Security Council explores the potential of having a shared regulatory agreement on protection from such threats by the use of Cybersecurity.
