Welcome to OAKMUN 2026, the seventh edition of the Oak House School Model United Nations in Barcelona.
This year, OAKMUN will take place from Wednesday 11th to Friday 13th of February 2026, marking the first time our conference will span three full days. Over the years, OAKMUN has become a cornerstone of our debating program, helping students grow into passionate, inquisitive, and persuasive debaters who can work together to achieve common goals. We are delighted to once again welcome both returning and new schools. The event will be held at Oak House School, Sant Pere Claver 12-18, 08017 Barcelona, and is open to students aged 13 to 18.
The Executive Team is proud to announce the overarching theme of OAKMUN 2026: Preventing Disunited Nations.
In a world marked by countless wars, rising international tensions, and deepening ideological divides, this theme challenges delegates to confront one of the most urgent issues of our time: disunity. As the international system becomes increasingly fragmented, the need for cooperation has never been greater.
At OAKMUN 2026, we believe the strongest tools against division are dialogue and diplomacy. For three days of intense academic debate, we invite delegates to step into the shoes of real-world leaders, confront this challenge head-on, and prove that even in a divided world, unity remains possible.
