Knowledge for all, Excellence for each

Dear delegates, future leaders, and aspiring diplomats,

After the resounding success of our previous editions, we are thrilled to bring you the third edition of the Sorbonne International Model United Nations Conference (SIMUN)! ✨

Organised by Sorbonne pour l’Organisation des Nations Unies (SONU), SIMUN 2026 promises yet another extraordinary journey of diplomacy, debate, and discovery.

📍 Hosted in the heart of Paris at the iconic Sorbonne campus, this year’s conference invites you to experience the art of negotiation against the backdrop of one of the world’s most historic and inspiring cities.

Our theme, “Reimagining Diplomacy : Forging Paths Beyond Crises”, embodies our conviction that diplomacy remains a cornerstone of our shared humanity, even in the most challenging times. Throughout the conference, you will engage in high-level debates and negotiations across diverse and dynamic committees, sharpening your skills as global citizens.

But SIMUN is not only about committee sessions. Delegates will also enjoy unforgettable socials across the City of Lights, making friendships, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. 🌟 Walk through history, debate the future. The Sorbonne awaits you at SIMUN.

Important Notice:

  • Participation is open to students aged 16 and above.
  • Minors may only attend SIMUN as part of a delegation, accompanied by a Faculty Advisor. A signed parental consent form must also be submitted for each minor to services@sorbonneonu.fr.

For more information on our conference and fees, please refer to our Terms & Conditions and FAQ.

We look forward to welcoming you to Paris for SIMUN 2026 — where crises become opportunities, diplomacy takes centre stage, and you make unforgettable memories. 🌍✨
