Diplomacy in the Service of Humanity: Facing Global Crises

Dear delegates, esteemed future leaders and diplomats,

You loved the first edition, and you asked for a remake. So, we took note and delivered ✨!

Sorbonne pour l'Organisation des Nations Unies (SONU) is pleased to announce the second edition of the Sorbonne International Model United Nations Conference (SIMUN)! 🎉 After the success of the first edition, we can’t wait to welcome you to another extraordinary experience of diplomacy, debate, and discovery.

Hosted on the iconic Sorbonne campus, SIMUN 2025 is your chance to live - or relive - an unforgettable journey in the unique charm of Paris, a city rich with history, beauty, and surprises.

The theme for this year, "Diplomacy in the Service of Humanity: Facing Global Crises", reflects our belief that diplomacy is vital, even in the toughest of times. We hope you will immerse yourself in this theme through high-level debates and negotiations across various dynamic committees (soon to be announced)!

Since MUN conferences are not only about debating, you will also have the chance to enjoy yourselves during amazing socials in the City of Lights.

N.B.: This edition is open to students aged 18 and over.
