Welcome to SIEGMUN 2026

Honourable Chairs, Distinguished Delegates, and Dear Members of the Press,

Welcome to SIEGMUN 2026, the 17th edition of Model United Nations Siegen! From 25-28 November 2026, we invite you to join us for several days of engaging debate, meaningful diplomacy, and international exchange in Siegen.

This year, SIEGMUN brings together four diverse committees, offering delegates the opportunity to explore pressing global challenges from different perspectives. Whether you are passionate about gender equality, sustainable development, global economic cooperation, intellectual property, or international journalism, there is a place for you at SIEGMUN 2026.

Our offline committees include the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), and the United Nations Press Corps. For those joining us virtually, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) will offer an online committee experience, allowing participants to engage in international diplomacy from wherever they are.

Our Press Corps will give participants the opportunity to experience SIEGMUN from a different perspective, reporting on committee debates, following diplomatic developments, and bringing the conference to life for the wider SIEGMUN community.

World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) — Online · 194 Spots
The online WIPO committee will explore some of the most pressing challenges at the intersection of innovation, technology, and international trade:

• Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property Rights
• Combating the Global Trade in Counterfeit Goods
