The Hybrid Model UN Conference
From 19 to 22 November 2025, SIEGMUN will bring together students from across the globe one more time for four days of diplomacy, debate, and collaboration. The conference offers participants the opportunity to represent member states, negotiate with fellow delegates, and address some of the most pressing challenges facing the international community today.
SIEGMUN combines both offline (this conference) and online sessions (12th-13th of December, UNESCO committee, more information will follow soon), ensuring that all students, regardless of location, can take part in meaningful discussions while strengthening their understanding of international relations, public speaking, and consensus-building. The conference is designed to be beginner-friendly, offering support and guidance for first-time delegates, while also providing a platform for advanced delegates to deepen their skills in research, negotiation, and leadership.
Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS)
Small island states are among the most vulnerable to the effects of climate change. This committee will provide delegates with the opportunity to discuss:
- Strengthening Climate Resilience and Food Security
- Addressing Climate-Induced Displacement and Human Rights
Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)
In a time of global uncertainty, sustainable development and youth opportunities remain vital. Delegates in ECOSOC will focus on:
- Financing Sustainable Development in Times of Global Economic Uncertainty
- Reducing Global Youth Unemployment in the Digital Economy
Peacebuilding Commission (PBC)
Fragile states continue to face threats to peace and security. Delegates in the PBC will deliberate on:
- Preventing Gender-Based Violence in Fragile States
- Countering Violent Extremism and Terrorism in the Sahel
What to Expect
