Welcome to the 2026 Hong Kong Baptist University International Model United Nations (HKBUMUN) Conference! The first international MUN conference in Hong Kong open to university and high school students alike, HKBUMUN sets the stage for meaningful debate and global exchange.
Our 2026 theme, “Building Bridges for the Future: Uniting for Peace and Sustainable Growth through Resilient Global Leadership in an Evolving World,” captures our commitment to forging connections and empowering resilient leaders ready to face contemporary challenges. We aim to foster cooperation, inspire innovation, and promote holistic understanding of the ever-changing landscape that shapes our future, reminding us that lasting solutions require unity and perseverance.
Held from April 17th to 19th, 2026 at Hong Kong Baptist University, HKBUMUN 2026 welcomes delegates from every background to an unprecedented platform for diplomatic exchange. With eight diverse committees, conducted across three delegate levels (Expert, Intermediate, Beginner) and in three languages (English, Mandarin, Cantonese), participants will benefit from accessible engagement and meaningful representation.
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Hong Kong, a city renowned for its energy, multicultural spirit, and world-class dynamism; our conference invites you to experience all the richness and diversity the city has to offer. Delegates will engage in challenging debates, collaborate across cultures and perspectives, and craft creative solutions to the urgent issues facing our world today, all the while refining skills in diplomacy, negotiation, leadership, and advocacy.
