Amid a global atmosphere characterised by uncertainty and division, CUMUN 2026 underscores the imperative for a coordinated and collective response from states and their leadership to address challenges effectively. To uphold this central aim, CUMUN 2026 will be held on the theme of: Shaping the Multipolar World.
The notion of a “multipolar world”, represents the shifting balance of power in international relations, where influence is distributed among diverse bodies: nations, institutions, and non-state entities. This new order demands diplomacy marked by cooperation, adaptability and provision. At CUMUN 2026, delegates will explore what leadership and diplomacy means in an era where emerging fronts call for unity and accountability. This ranges from climate-driven disasters, to human rights violations, to the struggle for education and equality in conflict zones.
