Debates. Ideas. Solutions.

Greetings international delegates,

Welcome to the fifteenth Global Virtual Model United Nations Conference (GVMUNC), hosted on November 21st, and based in Pennsburg, Pennsylvania. Join us for the day as we introduce ideas, debate solutions, and finally implement resolutions. Participate in a growing international committee of diplomacy and discussion, and prove your skills as a Model UN delegate.

For this iteration, GVMUN is offering delegates the option between two different committees, ranging from beginner to advanced. They are as follows:

1. Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) - Beginner -  Delegates in this committee will represent all UN member states, and will debate “Bridging the Global Development Finance Gap” and “Strengthening Global Food Security in an Era of Climate and Economic Instability.”
    
2. Historical Crisis Committee (HCC) French Revolution - Advanced - This committee is set in the year 1789, where delegates will take control of significant historical figures during the French Revolution, guiding the country through turbulent times, or steering it into chaos.

Each committee will have three awards, as follows:

• Best Delegate - 1
• Outstanding Delegate - 1
• Best Research and Preparation - 1

Note that a position paper, while not required, is strongly suggested for award eligibility. Delegates must research their topic thoroughly and prepare for the committee.
