Diplomacy Without Borders
Nordic Online MUN 2026 (NOMUN), organised by the Nordic Diplomacy Initiative, with the motto Diplomacy Without Borders. Held entirely online on 26 and 27 September 2026, it brings together university and high school students from anywhere in the world for two days of debate across four committees, from beginner to expert level.
This year's conference features four committees: the Human Rights Council (UNHRC), the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the Arctic Council, and the Historical Nordic Congress (1919). From contemporary global issues to Nordic geopolitics and historical decision making, delegates will explore a diverse range of topics across different levels of difficulty.
Background guides will be published by 1 July 2026. Rules of procedure, committee details and further information will be released closer to the event.
NOMUN is open to both school and university students from all countries. Whether this is your first MUN conference or your fiftieth, we aim to provide a welcoming, professional and memorable experience for everyone. Participation is free.
Applications are submitted on the Nordic Diplomacy Initiative portal at nordicdiplomacy.org. If you have any questions regarding applications, committees or participation, please contact the Secretariat at secretariat@nordicdiplomacy.org.
We look forward to welcoming you to Nordic Online MUN 2026. Diplomacy Without Borders.
