CONCORDIA 2027

Unity makes strength. A state can be founded on freedom, but it is unity that keeps it standing, and unity is the harder task. Concordia Summit 2027 is built around a question that has followed political communities for generations: how does a people keep its memory, its language and its shared purpose intact while building institutions wide enough for everyone to belong?

Three committees take up that question from different angles. The Historical Committee follows Bulgaria from its liberation in 1878, through autonomy and unification, to full sovereignty in 1908, and asks how a nation takes shape in the shadow of larger powers. The European Council debates whether political union should deepen or whether authority should return to national institutions. The United Nations Human Rights Council examines how the rights of ethnic, linguistic and cultural minorities can be protected without dismantling the national frame that shelters them.

This is a special summit, smaller and sharper than most, run entirely online on 6 and 7 March 2027. It is free to attend and open to high school and university students anywhere in the world, and every delegate arrives with a real mandate and a real say in the outcome. Chair applications run from 1 October 2026 to 1 January 2027, and delegate applications from 5 November 2026 to 5 February 2027.
