The first and oldest MUN conference in the world - now in Latin America!
Harvard National Model United Nations – Latin America (HNMUN-LA) is the Latin American extension of the renowned Harvard National Model United Nations, the world’s oldest and most recognized university-level United Nations simulation.
HNMUN-LA 2026 is organized in partnership between the Harvard International Relations Council (IRC), Asociación Panameña de Debate (ASPADE), and World Debate Consulting (WDC).
Since 2012, HNMUN-LA has provided an academically rigorous environment for high school and university students to debate regional and global issues, hosted in major cities across Latin America.
The 2026 edition, held in Panama City, will bring together participants from more than 15 countries, offering a comprehensive program that includes committee sessions in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, expert-led workshops, and a full schedule of social and cultural activities.
All delegates who select the Residential Package benefit from accommodation at the official conference hotel, local transportation, meals, and travel insurance. Participants can expect a highly organized, international experience with a full schedule of academic activities and social events, designed to foster debate, critical thinking, and professional networking.
