Step into the shoes of a diplomat!

Welcome to VICMUN, which takes place from August 3 to 7, 2025 at the Vienna International Centre (UN Office at Vienna “UNO-City”)! 👏

After a successful 1st edition of VICMUN in August 2024 and a “mini” Winter Edition in February 2025, and our VICMUN 2025, we're organizing our Model UN once again in August 2026 - this time with even bigger and better committees! All committee sessions of VICMUN take place in the Vienna International Centre, which is one of the 4 official UN headquarters.

What are your personal benefits of participating in VICMUN? 

You will practice your negotiation and rhetoric skills, learn more about the history, culture and politics of other countries, meet experts from the Vienna-based UN organizations, get an insight into the work of the UN Headquarter at Vienna and meet people and new friends from other UN associations, universities and schools around the world.

Sunday, August 2

• Individual arrival, Reception & Conference Registration (02:00 PM - 05:30 PM - you can come anytime during the timeframe). All delegates get a Goodie Bag!

Please bring your passport for the registration. 

Location: Clubrooms of UNA-Austria (Hofburg/Stallburg - Imperial Palace Vienna)

• Guided Tour through the first district of Vienna (starting time 03:00 PM, 04:00 PM and 05:00 PM)
• Welcome Reception + Cocktail Party (drinks & snacks included) (06:00 PM) - Invitation by UNA-Austria

Monday, August 3

• Registration & Security Screening at the Vienna International Centre (08:00 AM - 09:30 AM)

Please bring your passport especially for the Security Check / Issuing of the UN-badge (but generally everyday of the conference).

Location: Vienna International Centre  (Wagramerstraße 5, 1220 Vienna, Austria)

• Opening Ceremony & Committee Sessions (10:00 AM - approx. 4:00 PM) with lunch break (individual lunch)
• Departure from the United Nations to the Heuriger  (04:30 PM) - Please buy your own public transport ticket!
• Dinner at Heuriger (tradtional Austrian restaurant with a large buffet and a variety of drinks included) (06:00 PM - approx. 08:30 PM) 

Tuesday, August 4

• Committee Sessions (09:00 AM - approx. 05:00 PM) with lunch break (individual lunch)
• Karaoke Night (08:00 PM - 10:00 PM) or Quiz Night (07:00 PM - 09:00 PM)

Wednesday, August 5

• Committee Sessions (09:00 AM - 01:00 PM) with lunch break (individual lunch)
• Expert Sessions (02:00 PM- 05:00 PM)
• Picnic @ Donauinsel (06:00 PM)

Thursday, August 6

• Committee Sessions (09:00 AM - approx. 05:00 PM) with lunch break (individual lunch)
• Closing Party / Summer Club Night (07:00 PM) 

Friday, August 7

• Closing Ceremony (09:00 AM - 01:00 PM)

Participation Fees

Early Bird Delegate Fee (until June 30): 175€

Regular Delegate Fee (July 1 - July 21): 195€

Delegation Discount: You're a delegation of 5 or more delegates? Use discount VICMUN2026 for 45€ off the participation fee per delegate!

The participation fee includes the conference fee and organizational costs, Goodie Bag (incl. VICMUN merch), Welcome Dinner, Evening Reception / further meal and socials. 

Refund policy: The participation fee is fully refundable until July 1 (minus Stripe processing fees). 50% of the fee is refundable until July 15. For cancellations occurring after July 15, please contact us to discuss your circumstances, and we will work to find an appropriate solution.

If a Visa Invitation Letter is required: Please wait for your acceptance confirmation, pay the participation fee until June 15 and send a copy of your passport to registration@vicmun.at. 

Participants have to arrange travel and accommodation individually.
