Veritas Auctoritas Iustitia: Truth, Authority, Justice.
VAIMUN was founded to enhance understanding and global involvement within youth and young adult populations, fostering an environment of interest and curiosity. A brainchild of five high school students, VAIMUN stands for Veritas Auctoritas Iustitia MUN, Latin for Truth, Authority, and Justice MUN. Our mission is to make a difference for the future by fostering and nurturing diplomatic negotiation skills, research skills, an ability to adapt to situations quickly, and much more.
Our first conference will feature two dynamic committees: a recreation of the negotiations of the Treaty of Versailles, where delegates will step into the roles of historical figures to debate and decide the post–WWI peace terms, and an INTERPOL committee addressing present-day challenges faced by the United Nations’ global police force.
