About
Veritas Auctoritas Iustitia: Truth, Authority, Justice.
VAIMUN was founded to enhance understanding and global involvement within youth and young adult populations, fostering an environment of interest and curiosity. A brainchild of five high school students, VAIMUN stands for Veritas Auctoritas Iustitia MUN, Latin for Truth, Authority, and Justice MUN. Our mission is to make a difference for the future by fostering and nurturing diplomatic negotiation skills, research skills, an ability to adapt to situations quickly, and much more.
Our first conference will feature two dynamic committees: a recreation of the negotiations of the Treaty of Versailles, where delegates will step into the roles of historical figures to debate and decide the post–WWI peace terms, and an INTERPOL committee addressing present-day challenges faced by the United Nations’ global police force.
Starts August 24, 11:00 AM EST
Committees
The Treaty of Versailles officially ended World War I on June 28, 1919. Join us as we delve into a debate by the countries represented in the treaty to analyze, discuss, and revamp the document. Be prepared with a wealth of knowledge of the terms of the treaty, the sides taken by the countries represented, as well as a depth of knowledge about the time period in regards to the country you are assigned to be a delegate of. Best of luck delegates! Note: MyMun does not allow payments of $0, so registrations may have issues. If you have any difficulties please reach out to us at vaimunofficial@gmail.com.
