# UNITED-YA 2026 | United Youth Assembly
**United Youth Assembly (UYA)** proudly presents **UNITED-YA 2026**, our premier **free online Model United Nations conference**, bringing together aspiring diplomats and experienced delegates from around the world.
At UYA, we believe that high-quality Model UN should be accessible to everyone. Our conference is designed to provide delegates with a dynamic and competitive platform to develop **diplomacy, negotiation, public speaking, research, and resolution-writing skills** through engaging committee simulations.
Whether you are attending your **first MUN or your fiftieth**, UNITED-YA 2026 offers an environment where delegates can challenge themselves, exchange perspectives, and grow as confident global voices.

## 🏛️ General Assembly
The General Assembly will follow a traditional committee format featuring **Moderated and Unmoderated Caucuses**, with delegates working toward the drafting and adoption of resolutions.
The committee will follow **Modified UNA-USA Procedure**.
* The simulation will consist of **six one-hour rounds**.
* Delegates will be expected to actively participate in debate, negotiation, bloc formation, and resolution writing.
## 💬 Communication
Delegates will be added to the official **UYA WhatsApp group** for conference-related communication and announcements.
If a delegate is unable to access WhatsApp, UYA will work with them to arrange an alternative means of communication.
Please complete the application process and provide the required information to receive an invitation to the official communication group.
## 📝 Position Papers
**Position papers are compulsory for all delegates.**
**Deadline:** August 23, 2026
Delegates are expected to submit their position papers by the stated deadline. Position papers should reflect the delegate's understanding of the agenda, their country's position, and possible solutions.
## 🤖 AI Usage Policy
Delegates may use AI tools as a supporting resource; however, the position paper must primarily reflect the delegate's **own research, analysis, and writing**.
AI-generated content should remain **below 20%**. Submissions found to contain **25% or more AI-generated content** will not be eligible for an award certificate.
