Reconnecting a fragmented world
UNIC MUN is a Model United Nations conference organized by the University of Nicosia, founded and led by students of the university. The conference aims to simulate the procedures of the United Nations, providing participants with the opportunity to engage in diplomatic dialogue, debate global issues, and develop critical skills such as public speaking, negotiation, and international cooperation. Through active participation, UNIC MUN encourages young people to think globally and act as responsible future leaders in the international community.
During our three-day conference you will be able to debate in one of our five committees (beginner, intermediate, advanced) and discover Nicosia, a vibrant student city, as well as have fun and make new friendships during our social events.
The 2026 edition of UNIC MUN conference's main theme is:

In a world facing division, conflict and rapidly changing global dynamics, our theme invites delegates to explore how diplomacy, dialogue and cooperation can rebuild the connections that hold our world together.
