Stonyhurst Penang Model United Nations (also known as Stonyhurst Penang MUN or simply SHPGMUN) is a mainly student-led Model United Nations (MUN) conference.

Model United Nations (MUN) conferences serve as educational simulations of United Nations procedures and offer a platform for young people to learn more about international matters. Students from diverse backgrounds and perspectives gather for a Model UN conference where they assume the role of delegates from their preferred country and use diplomacy to debate urgent global issues. This co-curricular activity aims to teach students how to design their own practical policies in a safe, equitable setting for everyone, as well as to help them grasp perspectives on significant global/political problems.

Like our host school Stonyhurst International School Penang, we strive for youth to not only hone their own diplomatic expertise, but also to become Men and Women for Others.
