Conference

Porto, Portugal

Feb 24 - Feb 26, 2027

280 delegates expected

School Students

We are delighted to invite your school to the 20th edition of OPOMUN – The Oporto Model United Nations conference, scheduled from February 24 to 26 of 2027, in the beautiful city of Porto. OPOMUN is proudly organized by the Oporto International School (CLIP) and spearheaded by its Form 12 students. OPOMUN reflects the dedication and hard work of the students, who bring their passion for international relations and diplomacy to life, making it a memorable and impactful experience for all participants. OPOMUN exemplifies CLIP’s ethos (Challenged, Lifelong Learners, Internationally Minded, Principled Citizens), offering students an immersive experience in international relations and diplomacy.

As we mark this milestone edition, we invite delegates not only to debate pressing issues of today, but also to reflect on the impact they can have tomorrow. At OPOMUN, we believe that to dare to make a difference is to speak with purpose, listen with respect and act with responsibility. For 20 editions, students have risen to this challenge – and we are excited to see how the next generations will continue to shape this legacy.

Please register your delegation by 31 October 2026. The conference fee is €120 per student and €50 per chaperone. Each school may register up to 15 delegates.

To register, please use the following form: OPOMUN 2027 Registration Form. For any queries, contact us at opomun@clip.pt.

We look forward to welcoming you and your delegates to Porto this February!
