Greetings delegates,

We are proud to present NextGenMUN 2025 online with the dates being 15th and 16th February 2025 with all participants certified!

NextGenMUN just like last time is a medium for delegates to present their realistic solutions for world issues and giving amazing speeches that could move committee forward. 

After a successful and extremely entertaining NextGenMUN 2024 in February we are proud to have announced our second edition of this conference! Last edition we had almost a 100 applications and we hope to have so many more this time! We are glad to have a 2nd edition with another 4 committees. 

From a Taliban intervention in the UNHRC to the hottest topic in the world at this time in the Congress - the US elections, we would be discussing marquee global issues at remarkable depth. Going towards the UNSC, discussing the conflict in Democratic Republic of Congo which has been going on for quite some time now, hoping that we can find a solution to this matter. To the IAEA, which will be discussing the effects of the Nuclear phaseout of the European Union. We wish to cover a broad depth of agendas across 4 diverse continents.

We are also excited to announce a number of certified awards.

    Upon decades of discussion and attacks, the UNHRC at NextGenMUN wishes to resolve the Talibani intervention in Afghanistani territory and the role of aggravated accounts of violence led by American contingents. The committee will focus on human rights and women's rights violations. The committee will work on supporting and scrutinizing radical Islam centric policies led by the government and the overall governing of the state.

    About the committee

    The US Congress will deliberate on three different agendas the first being the agenda of the legitimacy of the Presidential Election and whether the 2024 election was licit. The second agenda will discuss party-oriented violence, namely the January 6 Capitol attack and the Trump assassination attempt. This committee will be a constant crisis experience with delegates expected to think quickly and resolve the updates placed within the conference.

    About the committee

    The conflict within the region of the DRC is a pressing one, and at the United Nations Security Council at NextGenMUN 2025 the delegates will be looking to ideate a possible common ground. The delegates would look to demilitarize the area with the removal of terrorists occupying the area. The ultimate goal is to develop an autonomous national identity for both the Rwandan and Congolese entity and that is exactly what we expect the delegates at NextGenMUN UNSC to do.
