Conference

Vienna, Austria

Jan 20 - Jan 22, 2027

350 delegates expected

School Students

Building upon the distinguished legacy of its predecessors, MUNoV 2027 aspires to convene a vibrant, and diverse international Model United Nations community, uniting delegates from multiple continents. Through rigorous debate, collaborative resolution writing, and the simulation of multilateral diplomacy, the MUNoV community continues to foster critical skills in public speaking, negotiation, decision-making, and political literacy, empowering the next generation of global leaders.

In a time defined by increasing multi-polarity, rapid information flows, and evolving geopolitical alignments, this year’s conference adopts a timely, and urgent theme: “Upholding and Safeguarding Rights & Information in an Increasingly Multi-Polar World: Fostering International Co-operation & Strengthening Fundamental Freedoms.” Delegates will engage with pressing questions surrounding the protection of fundamental human rights, the integrity and accessibility of information, and the responsibilities of states and international institutions in an interconnected yet fragmented global order.

As misinformation, digital surveillance, and uneven access to information increasingly shape political and social realities, the agenda will encourage reflection on how multilateral cooperation can safeguard transparency, accountability, and freedom of expression. At the same time, it will examine how international frameworks can adapt to ensure that fundamental freedoms remain protected amid shifting power dynamics and competing global narratives.

Beyond its educational mission, MUNoV 2027 serves as a platform for meaningful dialogue, the development of diplomatic acumen, and the reinforcement of the shared values enshrined in the United Nations Charter. It is our mission not only to cultivate individual excellence but also to contribute to a broader youth movement that champions international cooperation, defends fundamental rights, and reaffirms the importance of multilateral diplomacy in addressing the complex challenges of our increasingly multi-polar world.
