The Manchester Model United Nations (MUN) Conference 25/26 invites the next generation of diplomats, leaders, and changemakers to embark on a journey through time, drawing lessons from the past to reimagine a better future. Anchored in the theme “Reclaiming Yesterday, Re-envisioning Tomorrow,” this year’s conference challenges delegates to reflect on historical legacies, reevaluate global systems, and reimagine the paths forward through diplomacy, collaboration, and innovation.

Building on the momentum of Manchester MUN 2024, which empowered voices to “Pave Avenues to Progress,” we now return with renewed purpose. The debates and resolutions of the past year laid essential groundwork - but progress demands more than vision. It requires the courage to confront history, learn from it, and reshape what comes next. At MUN 2025, delegates will explore how the echoes of yesterday’s choices still influence today’s global landscape, and how re-envisioned leadership can drive transformative change for tomorrow.
