It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the annual LSESU Youth Model United Nations (YouthMUN) 2023 conference hosted by the London School of Economics and Political Science. The conference will be held from the 10th to 12th of March 2023.
About LSE YouthMUN
LSESU YouthMUN was first conceived in 2014 as a platform for sixth form students in the UK to engage with current affairs through the simulation of the United Nations.
This year, we seek to expand our conference as we invite delegates from schools across the globe to partake in valuable discussions to form constructive solutions. For those who are inexperienced with MUN, YouthMUN is the perfect opportunity for students to sharpen their research, writing, and public speaking skills. As a conference organised by one of the top-ranked universities and MUN teams in the country, delegates will have the unique opportunity to learn more about MUN and LSE.
Following the success of last yearโs Parliamentary procedure masterclass, we are happy to announce that we will provide training for beginner delegates on the first day of conference, before a weekend of debate and lobbying. Following two years of online conferences, we are glad that YouthMUN 2023 will be held in-person, and we look forward to once again hosting you all on the LSE campus.
We have launched a scholarship program for deserving students in and around the United Kingdom as a part of our Outreach efforts, including training sessions to help these delegates prepare for the conference. This year, we strive to widen our reach and are also offering guidance on forming MUN societies within these schools to encourage continued participation in similar conferences.

โLSESU United Nations Society is one of the largest and most operationally diverse societies on the LSE campus. We are dedicated to empowering our members with the necessary skills and knowledge about the causes they are passionate about and providing them with a platform to discuss global peace & security, humanitarian, environmental and socio-economic issues.
