Digital Diplomacy: Addressing Cybersecurity, Human Rights and Global Governance in the Digital Era

We are excited to welcome you to the 2026 edition of ISUMUN, a 2 day conference in Utrecht, Netherlands, hosted at the International School of Utrecht.

ISUMUN 2026 is more than a Model United Nations conference. It is a growing diplomatic forum where students from diverse backgrounds come together to explore the challenges shaping our global future. Now in its third edition, ISUMUN continues to offer a space where delegates are encouraged to think critically, speak confidently, and collaborate meaningfully.

Rooted in the values of inclusivity, innovation, and impact, ISUMUN simulates the world of international diplomacy through committees that address real-world issues such as cybersecurity, human rights, international conflict, development, and governance.

Our 2026 theme, “Digital Diplomacy: Addressing Cybersecurity, Human Rights and Global Governance in the Digital Era” reflects the urgent questions facing today’s world. As digital technologies reshape diplomacy, power, and identity, ISUMUN invites delegates to reimagine how global cooperation can adapt and what role they must play in shaping it. ISUMUN is a space where every voice matters and where each delegate plays a role in shaping the conversation. Whether students are experienced MUN participants or attending their first conference, they will find a place here to grow, lead, and contribute.

ISUMUN 2026 welcomes those who are ready to engage deeply, debate with integrity, and take part in a conference that is young in years but ambitious in vision.
