From Athens to the World: Diplomacy Begins Here

More than 2,500 years after Democracy was born in Athens, only a short distance away from the Pnyx, the Ancient Agora, the Areopagus and the Acropolis โ€” the very places where public dialogue first shaped society โ€” we continue this legacy by bringing students together under a common purpose: to speak, to listen, and to collaborate for the common good.
With this spirit in mind, we proudly present this yearโ€™s edition of IRCMUN.

Teachers, alumni, and students from schools located in the heart of Athens have joined forces to create a conference that encourages every participant to broaden their perspective, engage with viewpoints different from their own, and contribute to meaningful discussions about the challenges of the modern world.

Following last yearโ€™s successful session โ€” where over three hundred young delegates from numerous Athenian and international schools took part โ€” we are ready to take the next step. This year, IRCMUN opens its doors, welcoming both middle and high school students from Greece and abroad. Our vision is to further expand MUN culture, offering more students, beginners and experienced delegates alike, the opportunity to explore the world of global diplomacy in an inspiring environment.

What we promise is passion, dedication, and a warm, inclusive atmosphere; committees with thought-provoking topics; high-quality debate; and moments that are as educational as they are enjoyable.

What we hope for is that every participant will leave IRCMUN with unforgettable memories, new friendships, and a deeper understanding of the power of dialogue.

The School Application Form I (NOTICE OF PARTICIPATION &  DELEGATIONS AND COUNTRY SELECTION) will remain open until December 20th, unless all available spots are filled earlier, in which case applications will close automatically.
