Dear delegates,

Welcome to the International Associations Model United Nations 2024 Conference, founded by Kahini Chilukuri.

We are a online Model UN conference that aims to bring together young leaders and bright minds from all around the world to engage in meaningful discussions and complex negotiations on global issues. There is no participation fee, for the purpose that we can all learn and grow together. 

IAMUN features three committees, in which delegates from all over the world have the opportunity to tackle numerous issues and propose innovative solutions, all whilst developing diplomatic skills:

• International Press (IP)
• United Nations Security Council (UNSC)
• United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)

Topics: 

1. UNSC: Addressing the Rising Threat of Cyber Warfare and its Implications on Global Security
2. UNHRC: Assessing State Responsibility in Ensuring Compliance with Humanitarian Laws During Proxy Wars: Cases of Syria and Ukraine

All committees offer awards with certificates for:

• Best Delegate x1
• Honorable Mention x1
• Best Position Paper x1
• Best Journalist x1 (exclusive for the International press)

Position Papers are mandatory, please submit them before the conference.

• Times New Roman
• Size 12
• 1,5 spacing
• Justified text
• Bibliography cited in APA7 format, or any commonly used format
• 2-3 pages
