IEMUN 2024

Dear delegates,

Welcome to the International European Model United Nations 2024 Conference!

We are a online Model UN conference that aims to bring together young leaders and bright minds from all around the world to engage in meaningful discussions and complex negotiations on global issues. There is no participation fee, for the purpose that we can all learn and grow together.

IEMUN is the main organisation which hosts the main conferences, which has its branches and affiliated conferences. Interested delegates may join the Secretariat to assist with the organisation of conferences (more details at the end). Please follow our official Instagram page: iemun.official

IEMUN 2024 features one committee, in which delegates from all over the world have the opportunity to tackle numerous issues and propose innovative solutions, all whilst developing diplomatic skills:

• United Nation’s Children’s Fund (UNICEF)

Topics: 

1. The situation of child labour in the People's Republic of China.
2. Addressing the situation of child exploitation in sub-saharan Africa

Due to time restrictions, only one topic will be entertained, the topic will be decided via voting while setting the agenda during the start of the conference. 

All committees offer awards with certificates for:

• Best Delegate x1
• Honorable Mention x1
• Best Position Paper x1

Position Papers are mandatory, please submit them before the conference. 

Format: 

• Times New Roman
• Size 12
• 1,5 spacing
• Justified text
• Bibliography cited in APA7 format, or any commonly used format
• 1 page (not including bibliography, which may be on the second page)

Note: minimum one, but two position papers are recommended.

For those extremely enthusiastic MUN participants, the Secretariat is currently welcoming new members to assist with organisational issues, as we are constantly expanding, if you want to join us, please send me a motivational letter. The format must be the same as the position papers, except the bibliography and extension, which shall not exceed two.
