GYMUN 2026

Global Youth Model United Nations (GYMUN) is an international online conference designed for high school students who are passionate about diplomacy, global issues, and leadership. Delegates will represent countries in dynamic committees, debate pressing international topics, draft resolutions, and collaborate with peers from around the world.

GYMUN is online, beginner-friendly, and certificate-approved, offering a unique opportunity to develop public speaking, negotiation, and critical thinking skills. Join us for one full day of engaging discussions, skill-building, and global connections, and be part of a community where young voices truly make a difference!

With 10 dynamic committees and diverse debates of truly terrific agendas

Awards will be presented per committee to recognize outstanding performance, diplomacy, and preparation.



DELEGATE AWARDS 

 1. Best Delegate

Awarded to the delegate who demonstrates exceptional leadership, diplomacy, policy understanding, and consistent contribution throughout the committee sessions.

 2. Outstanding Delegate

Awarded to delegates who show strong engagement, high-quality debate, and collaboration.

 3. Honourable Mention

Awarded to delegates who make notable contributions to discussions and resolution drafting.

 4. Best Position Paper 

Awarded at the discretion of the Chair to the delegate who submits a well-researched, clear, and policy-focused position paper.

AWARD CRITERIA 

 • Active participation in debates

 • Quality of arguments and understanding of the agenda

 • Diplomatic behavior and cooperation with other delegates

 • Contribution to drafting resolutions

 • Quality of the position paper

 • All delegates will receive a Certificate of Participation.
