Unifying Voices: Striving For Change

Dear Delegates, Directors and Honourable Guests,

On behalf of the Secretariat, it is our greatest pleasure to welcome you to The Grammar School’s Model United Nations Conference 2026! This year’s theme, ‘Unifying Voices, Striving for Change’, reminds us that every meaningful change begins with a single voice – one willing to speak, to listen, and above all, to unite with others. Yet no voice, however powerful, creates change alone. It is when our voices come together across committees, countries and convictions, that ideas grow into resolutions, and ambition becomes action.

Over the course of the conference, we encourage you to embrace every opportunity, challenge perspectives, defend your position with conviction, and discover the impact that becomes possible when diverse ideas come together with a shared purpose. Whether this is your very first conference or one of many, we hope you leave GSMUN 2026 inspired not only by the debates you take part in, but by the memories, friendships and unforgettable experiences you create along the way.

We wish you every success on your journey, and cannot wait to welcome you to GSMUN 2026!

Yours sincerely,
The Secretariat
The Grammar School Model United Nations Conference 2026
