GrunnMUN 2027

GrunnMUN 2027 is the annual Model United Nations conference organised by the TEIMUN Foundation in Groningen, the Netherlands. Bringing together university students from diverse academic and international backgrounds, the conference provides a platform for diplomatic debate, negotiation, and engagement with contemporary global challenges.

Under the theme ‘Rules for Whom? Power, Legitimacy, and the Geopoliticisation of the International System’, this year's edition invites delegates to examine pressing international issues through a diverse selection of councils, including UN Women, UNODC, OECD, UNOOSA UNSC. Each council offers a distinct perspective on international cooperation, policymaking, and the complexities of global governance.

With councils designed for different levels of experience, GrunnMUN welcomes both first-time participants and experienced delegates. Combining academic engagement with an accessible and collaborative atmosphere, the conference offers an opportunity to develop diplomatic skills, exchange perspectives, and connect with fellow students interested in international affairs.
