Georges Duby Model United Nations (GDMUN) 2026

Fostering international cooperation to promote global freedom, peace and sovereignty in the 21st century 

 

Opportunities
Beyond the academic experience, GDMUN 2026 offers delegates a chance to network and unwind through enriching social events. On the Saturday evening, all participants are invited to a festive gathering in La Duranne, near Aix-en-Provence, to foster connections in a relaxed setting.

What’s Included in the Fee?
The conference fee covers:

  • Refreshments during committee sessions.
  • Access to the three days of the event
  • Access to the evening social gathering on the Saturday evening.

Who Should Apply?
Whether you are a first-time MUN participant or a seasoned delegate, GDMUN 2026 promises an engaging and unforgettable experience. Refine your diplomatic and public speaking skills, collaborate with peers from around the world, and take part in impactful debates during this edition of the conference.

  • Friday, March 27th, 2026 
    • from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.: Opening Ceremony and Ice Breakers in Committees. 
      • Venue: Lycée Georges Duby, Aix-en-Provence
  • Saturday, March 28th, 2026 
    • From 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. : Debating in Committees
      • Venue: Lycée Georges Duby, Aix-en-Provence 
    • From 7.45 p.m. to midnight: social event
      • Venue: Villa Divina, Aix-en-Provence
  • Sunday, March 29th, 2026
    • From 9:30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.: General Assembly, Awards Ceremony and Closing Ceremony
      • Venue: Institut Portalis, Aix-en-Provence

Application Process

  1. Registering:
    • Delegates: Apply, select your committee, and indicate your country preferences.
    • Chairs: Chairs have already been selected. Please do not submit an application if you have not been sent an email confirming your position. For those who have, please apply in the committee that you were selected in.
  2. Assignments:
    Delegates will receive their assignments via email within a few days.
  3. Paying:
    ⚠️ Delegates need to pay the conference fees before the conference. Delegates who haven't paid the fee will not be accepted into the conference if they can't provide immediate payment.
