Given the current state of world affairs, the dynamics of modern warfare and diplomatic strategies are undergoing dynamic changes. Modern warfare is no longer confined to normal rules. It has extended to cyberspace, where nations engage in cyberattacks and information warfare. The rise of non-state actors and terrorist organizations adds layers of unpredictability and challenges conventional military doctrines. In addition, the integration of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence and autonomous weapons, is changing the nature of armed conflict and the expectations it raises. On the other hand, diplomatic strategies have also adapted to these changes. Multilateral organizations are playing an increasingly crucial role in resolving global problems, from climate change to pandemics, underlining the interconnectedness of security and diplomacy.

This conference will feature ten committees, providing delegates with a platform to dissect pressing international issues and formulate innovative solutions. But EPFLMUN goes beyond committee sessions; it's about cultivating skills that extend beyond the traditional MUN environment.
