ECOPITCH 2024

PRIZE: 

The winner of EcoPITCH 2024 will join the DiscoverMUN team on a fully-funded trip to COP29, where they will present their ideas to a global audience. 

The best projects will also be implemented in Enomad's NetZero@Schools program in 2025 and used across 4000+ schools in South Korea. The corresponding participants will be credited as contributors. 

EcoPITCH takes hackathons out of a simulation scenario and offers participants to create solutions that will be presented at global conferences and implemented across Korea in 2025. This year, EcoPITCH takes the form of a hackathon—a unique "invention marathon" where participants from diverse backgrounds, including tech enthusiasts, designers, and passionate individuals, come together in a collaborative and relaxed environment. No programming experience or Computer Science background is required, making the event inclusive and accessible for all. It’s a fantastic opportunity to explore creativity, build new ideas, and bring them to life with the help of Enomad. 

At EcoPITCH, participants will be expected to submit a 1500-word report by August 21st. Then, Enomad and DMUN will judge the projects in a preliminary round and choose the top 24 participants to attend EcoPITCH on September 7-8. 

At the event, participants will present their solutions in front of a panel of industry experts and answer questions from the judges and fellow participants. After EcoPITCH, all attendees will receive written feedback from the panelists on how to improve their projects. 

EcoPITCH merges the international essence of Model United Nations, the entrepreneurial nature of business competitions, and the flair of speaking events, focusing on the intersection of the environment and economy. In collaboration with Enomad, EcoPITCH invites participants to develop solutions for pressing environmental challenges while enhancing Enomad’s NetZero@Schools Program. In doing so, it offers a chance for young minds to assemble, act, and aspire, driving forward solutions for climate change with enthusiasm and innovation.
