About

Changing lives.

Welcome to the Discover Model United Nations Conference of 2023.

We're a little bit different from other conferences.

We are free virtual Model UN conference that aims to bring together young leaders from around the world to engage in meaningful discussions and negotiations on global issues. But unlike other free conferences, we offer an high calibre of academic and conference quality that is only expected in large conferences that is held in-person.

Since our founding in 2021, we have connected over 1200 youths from over 70 countries on just our first conference, and now joined by a network of robust regional conferences such as DMUN Asia, we're proud to bring the high calibre of quality on our main conference, DMUN once again to all MUNers.

Our leading vision is equity, which is at the forefront of all our efforts, as we believe that every individual should have equal opportunities and access to resources, regardless of their background.

We believe that by creating an inclusive and diverse platform, we can foster a culture of understanding and cooperation, and pave the way for a more equitable future.

With this, we ask you to join us in our revolution inside Model UN, creating greater accessibility inside the circuit, every delegate at a time.

    About the committee

Climate change is a major threat to global health. It is already causing more extreme weather events, such as heat waves, droughts, floods, and wildfires. These events can lead to death, injury, and displacement. They can also disrupt food production and water supplies, which can lead to malnutrition and disease. In addition to these direct impacts, climate change is also contributing to the spread of infectious diseases. For example, mosquitoes that carry malaria are able to survive in cooler temperatures, so the range of malaria is expanding. Similarly, the melting of glaciers is releasing waterborne pathogens that have been dormant for centuries.
