ASKMUN 2026

Welcome to ASKMUN 2026 – Hosted in Prishtina, Kosovo

Dear Delegates,

It is with great pleasure that I share an important milestone for our school community. After 10 years of the existence of the MUN Club at our school, we are proud to announce that for the very first time we will be organizing and hosting ASKMUN 2026 in Prishtina, Kosovo.

After years of experience participating in international conferences in cities such as Prague, Istanbul, Frankfurt, The Hague, Berlin, Paris, and across Kosovo, 2026 marks a special year for us as we welcome the MUN community to our own home.

The theme of ASKMUN 2026 is:
“Human Rights as the Foundation of Sustainable Peace: Rebuilding Trust in a Divided World.”

The committees available for this conference are:

• United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)
• United Nations Security Council (UNSC)
• General Assembly (GA)
• Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)
• International Court of Justice (ICJ)

Participating in this conference will allow delegates to build meaningful connections within the wider MUN community while deepening their understanding of global issues through research, debate, and diplomatic negotiation. Engaging with peers from different schools and countries will strengthen communication, public speaking, and critical-thinking skills; competencies essential for both academic success and personal growth.

Furthermore, this conference provides a valuable opportunity to establish lasting relationships with other schools, advisors, and student leaders, contributing to the long-term development of our MUN network.

For these reasons, I strongly encourage the participation of your delegation. I am confident that the skills gained and insights shared during ASKMUN 2026 will significantly enhance the growth of your club and contribute to the success of future conferences.
