<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">I have participated and won many international awards as a debater representing Punjab University. The most prestigious competitions I won were the award for outstanding diplomacy at the Harvard World Model United Nations debates 2009, served as a member of the youth parliament of Pakistan 2008-09. I made an appearance on a T.V talk show D-bate with Mehreen Khan on Aaj T.V&nbsp; on the motion “Pakistan should break all ties with the west “ Supporting the proposition “Pakistan not break ties with the west” although I lost the audience vote but was able to win the popular vote.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">I have been active in organizing seminars and workshops educating students on the dangers of radical Islamist political ideology and extremism. I am the founding member and former general secretary of the Punjab university model united nation’s society which helps train students for model UN debates. I have also served as a judge at the Munster University model united nations 2010 and in that capacity wrote a study guide on “Reducing gender violence to achieve millennium development goal 3”.
