Building The World Of Tomorrow, One Delegate At A Time
Building the world of tomorrow, one delegate at a time.
Welcome to the Youth Vision Model United Nations Conference!
Tomorrow Model United Nations is an organization that coordinates online international MUN’s. We aim to bring together young leaders and bright minds from all around the world to engage in meaningful discussions and complex negotiations on global issues.
We’re partnering with Youth Vision (@theyouthvision.qa), a youth organization based in Qatar dedicated to providing opportunities for like-minded students, including workshops and diverse volunteering opportunities. Youth Vision strives to make a positive impact in their community, which is why all proceeds from this conference will go to a campaign focused on providing aid for flood victims in Yemen, led by Qatar Charity: https://www.qcharity.org/en/qa/campaign?campaignId=710.
“Yemen is currently experiencing a devastating humanitarian crisis due to widespread floods. These floods have exacerbated an already dire situation, with millions of people affected by ongoing conflict, displacement, and poverty, and have caused damage to over 34,000 households, displaced thousands of people, and destroyed wells, homes, and infrastructure, including roads, water supply systems, crops, and health facilities.” Together, we can help alleviate victims’ suffering, and aid them in rebuilding their lives.
YVMUN features a total of 3 committees, in which delegates from all over the world have the opportunity to tackle numerous issues and propose innovative solutions, all whilst developing diplomatic skills:
- Economic and Financial Committee (ECOFIN)
Topic: Discussing dependency on oil and gas, fostering economic diversification and promoting trade within and outside the Gulf region
- Legal Committee
Topic: Discussing the issue of electoral bonds and political donation policies
- Security Council (UNSC)
