In many conflict-affected regions, organized crime groups have exploited instability to expand drug trafficking networks, engage in human trafficking, and perpetrate violent crimes including kidnappings and assassinations. These activities not only fuel violence but also undermine state authority, hinder peacebuilding efforts, and devastate vulnerable populations. Delegates are tasked with exploring comprehensive strategies to dismantle these criminal networks through enhanced international cooperation, intelligence sharing, and strengthening the rule of law—while addressing the root causes such as poverty, corruption, and weak governance.
