The Young Leaders Summit India (YLS India 2026) is one of the country’s most dynamic leadership and diplomatic training platforms, designed to empower students with the skills, exposure, and global awareness needed to shape the future. As the most independently run, youth-led MUN in North India, YLS India stands as a symbol of innovation, passion, and student-driven excellence.

Committees

Exploring measures to dismantle the operational and financial nexus between transnational organized crime, the illicit drugs trade, and arms trafficking, with emphasis on securing vulnerable maritime and land borders.

Addressing the structural barriers to women's political participation and leadership, and formulating strategies to achieve gender parity in legislative, executive, and judicial bodies worldwide

Addressing the legal and human rights implications of applying Sharia law, with a focus on mitigating corporal and capital punishment and ensuring fair trial standards and due process for all citizens.

Documenting the conference through photography, journalism, and caricature. The IP team will capture the essence of diplomatic debate and produce comprehensive coverage of all committee proceedings.

Establishing a multilateral framework to monitor and restrict the illicit and grey-market flow of small arms and light weapons (SALW) to states perpetuating systematic human rights violations and armed conflict.

Reviewing the Arms Act, 1959, and legislating new provisions to curb the proliferation of illegal and 'Katta' (country-made) firearms, with special attention to law enforcement and socio-economic remediation in the states of Bihar and Punjab.
