Exploring the Legality of Cyber Attack and Cyber Warfare

    About the committee

As nations grow increasingly dependent on digital infrastructure, there is a rising threat of cyber attacks and cyber warfare. With state-sponsored cyber operations, digital espionage, and ransomware attacks overshadowing the lines between conflict and crime, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is tasked to discuss debate the legality, regulation, and response to cyber warfare. Will delegates agree on legal boundaries, or will the digital landscape remain a lawless domain?

Combating Media Oppression and Ensuring Freedom of Expression in the Digital Age

    About the committee

In a world where everything is interconnected digitally. The flow of information has an advantage of a rapid spread across the globe. Yet, with this, comes the pressing issue of government censorship and oppression on press freedom. This act has disrupted the flow of information and restricted truthful news from being spread. The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) needs to address this urgent need to safeguard the freedom of expression based on the United Nations' Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 19. Will delegates be able to uphold the right to free speech, or will oppression tighten its grip on the digital world? The future of global expression lies in the hands of the UNHRC council to decide.

    Bridging Education Gap Through Technology

    About the committee

Education is one of the main pillars for a nation to grow and develop. Yet, education that is supposed to be a fundamental right for all children is still lacking. Small LEDCS and nations that are in conflict lack the access and resources to foster the need for education. As technological advances, it may present an opportunity to bridge the education gap by providing resources that nations once lacked. The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) needs to address the challenge that is present in combating the inequality in the education sector among nations. Will delegates seize this opportunity, or will inequality in learning still persist? The future of education depends on the actions taken by the UNICEF council.

    About the committee

In 2025, the world will be thrown into chaos as a massive data breach exposes the personal information of millions, destroying the credibility of the tech industry that people once trusted. This affected the whole world economy, and there was a massive economic drop after the incident. In response, the United Nations formed CIRCUIT—the Council for International Regulation of Cybersecurity and Universal Technology—Inside, various CEOs of the digital industry, such as Elon Musk, are present to contain the crisis and reshape the future of the tech world. With governments demanding action, CIRCUIT must act swiftly. Will they restore order, or will their decisions plunge the world into an era of digital doom that creates anarchy everywhere?
