Where Classic Meets Clarity.
Voluntary Students Model United Nations (VSMUN) is a one-day online conference created by delegates, for delegates. Designed specifically for high school students, VSMUN follows the structure of a traditional Model United Nations conference while introducing a uniquely interactive academic environment.
VSMUN functions as a structured and realistic simulation where delegates engage in formal debate, motion writing, resolution drafting, lobbying, and procedural application. It mirrors the standards of established conferences, offering participants a genuine MUN experience within a focused one-day format.
What distinguishes VSMUN is its open academic accessibility. Our chairs — experienced delegates with strong MUN backgrounds — are not only moderators but active academic resources. Delegates are encouraged to ask questions freely, seek clarification during the process, and engage directly with chairs to deepen their understanding. This approach allows participants to refine both strategic and procedural competence without uncertainty.
As a fully online conference, VSMUN provides an efficient, well-organized, and academically supportive environment. It maintains the seriousness and structure of a classic MUN while ensuring that delegates leave with clearer insight, stronger confidence, and practical experience.
After the conferance, delegates who attended at least 75 percent of the conferance recieve a paticipation certificate and a simple personalized feedback from the chairs and organizers.
VSMUN is not simply a conference — it is a structured platform for growth within a real MUN framework.
