About the committee

The delegates of the Historic Crisis Committee (HCC) will be discussing the topic “Korean War”. At this conference, the delegates will be revisiting the different happenings which had ultimately led to the Korean War. Similar to a crisis committee, this committee sustains a very proactive, fast-paced discussion throughout the conference and examines the instances that instigated the Korean War. In essence, this committee will be emulating the Korean War.

About the committee

The delegates of the Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC) will be discussing the topic of “Determining the role and necessity of private military companies in international security”. At this conference, delegates will be examining the role and importance of PMCs in maintaining international security. Delegates are expected to hold discussions where they judge and evaluate the usefulness of PMCs in situations where international security is threatened.

The Ministry of Magic Committee (MoM) is a fictional committee based on Harry Potter. In this committee, delegates will be acting as different characters from the Harry Potter franchise and grapple with the different situations they encounter. The delegates will embody and represent their respective characters and make choices that are in line with their character’s personalities and traits.

Addressing the Humanitarian Needs of Refugees Displaced by the Conflict in Sudan

About the committee

The delegates of the High Commissioner for Refugees committee (HCR) will be conferring on the topic “Addressing the Humanitarian Needs of Refugees Displaced by the Conflict in Sudan”. In this discussion, delegates will be representing their assigned countries while searching for practical ways to handle the humanitarian needs of people who were displaced as a result of the conflict in Sudan. Starting this April 15 in the capital city of Khartoum, the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces, two considerably powerful military groups, have been at war while trying to gain control of an area in the country. Amid this enraging conflict, hundreds of civilians have been harmed and killed, compelling a large sum of people to flee to neighboring countries as refugees, hoping to retain their safety. In this committee, delegates will be engaging in in-depth debates to understand the status of and offer their proposed solutions to meet the humanitarian needs of these refugees.

Solutions to improve public health systems in the Global South

About the committee

The delegates of the World Health Organization Committee (WHO) will be discussing the topic “Solutions to improve public health systems in the Global South”. At this conference, delegates will be representing their respective countries while addressing the issues with the public health systems in countries situated in the Global South. Delegates are expected to apprehend the main problems with said public health systems as well as their root causes and search for feasible solutions to ratify these issues, the aim of which is to enhance these public health systems.
